Tour Venice’s Venezia Park District, which is a neighborhood of Northern Italian/Mediterranean revival style homes. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The short walking tour can be completed in little over an hour and will give you a glimpse into Venice’s past. Steeped in our local history, this small section gives a visitor insight into John Nolen’s Plan for the City of Venice. Venezia Park is one of the residential subdivisions developed by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers according to the plan during the 1926-27 development period.
